Open Positions
Full-time TA/RA (Doctoral)
Full-time Graduate Teaching/Research Assistantships are available for Ph.D. students to work on federally-funded research projects. Doctoral students will work on research topics including, but not limited to high-performance parallel computing systems; reliable multicore architectures, sustainable interconnection architectures, interconnection security, heterogeneous systems, machine learning algorithms for global optimization, domain-specific architectures, distributed learning systems, Internet-of-things, and many others.

Students will gain a well-rounded experience in computer architecture and system design through theoretical studies, modeling and simulation experiments, performance evaluation, and physical implementation. Knowledge of basic computer architecture and programming skills are suggested.
Teaching Assistantships(Master's & Undergrads)
We welcome Master's and undergraduate students at UNC Charlotte to join our research group for their thesis research (ECGR 6991), independent study projects (ECGR 5892), and other projects of interest, under Prof. Wang's supervision.

Students are expected to draft a research proposal and complete a capstone project in Computer Engineering. Students will gain hands-on experience in conducting research related to computer architecture. A variety of modeling and simulation tools as well as equipment are available for use in the Lab. Knowledge of basic computer architecture and programming skills are a plus.
Full-time/Half-time Teaching Assistantships are offered by Department of ECE.
